Shelby Joe
Associate Scientist, Discovery Biology
Shelby has a BS in Bioengineering from UC San Diego and a MS in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Michigan where he studied applications of biomaterial scaffolds for the purposes of treating Type I diabetes. Prior to joining BigHat, Shelby was an Associate Scientist at Tizona Therapeutics where he focused on developing and optimizing assays for new targets in the early stage pipeline.
