Marshall Porter
Associate Scientist, Purification
Marshall is a protein scientist with extensive experience in protein engineering, research, and early process development for protein therapeutics. Prior to BigHat, Marshall worked as an Associate Scientist at Nektar Therapeutics where he developed processes for protein expression, refolding, purification, and characterization. Before that, he worked as a protein engineering scientist for Roche's nanopore sequencing technologies. Marshall graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a BS in Biomolecular Engineering.
