Evelyn Alferez
Research Associate I, CFPS Production
Evelyn is a biologist with four years of experience in Plant Biology. Before joining BigHat, Evelyn worked at Bolt Threads under the R&D team to develop a bio sustainable Fungi Leather called Mycelium. She then joined the Dinneny Lab at Stanford University and worked on research to understand how diversity in stress signaling pathways help Brassicaceae species survive in extreme environments using molecular biology techniques. She obtained a bachelor's degree in General Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
