Emily is a protein and antibody engineer with 5 years of experience in molecular biology, protein biochemistry, NGS and phage display. She earned her B.S. in Genetics and Developmental Biology from Pennsylvania State University’s Eberly College of Science. Prior to joining BigHat she was a core member of Twist Bioscience’s Biopharma team, building their high-throughput antibody therapeutics lab. She led several successful antibody discovery and optimization programs with external partners and revenue clients, in addition to COVID-19 efforts. She currently has 2 peer reviewed publications.
