Raheel Ata
Raheel brings a rare trifecta of experience: front-line drug development experience, six years in scrappy startups, and a medical degree from Stanford. Raheel comes from GondolaBio, a BridgeBio spinout, where he ran BD and operations for a rare disease program. He drove the program from target identification through DC-enabling studies and helped shape clinical development planning, trial design, and KOL strategies. Before biotech, Raheel was a consultant at Bain & Company and co-founded and sold a health-tech startup. Raheel joined our team because he believes AI is about to reshape drug development, and that antibody design can be fundamentally rebuilt around AI. That's the bet BigHat has been making for six years: using AI/ML to engineer antibodies against previously undruggable targets.
