Meirong Gao

Meirong is a protein engineering scientist with 6+ years of industry experience leading display-based protein discovery and optimization programs. Meirong received her PhD in Chemical and Biological Engineering from Iowa State University, where she engineered yeast platforms and microbial consortia to enable the production of high-value aromatic compounds. Drawing on her studies in synthetic biology and molecular genetics, Meirong joined Corteva Agriscience, where she led display-based protein discovery and optimization programs.
