Emma received her BSA in Chemistry from the University of Texas at Austin and her M.S. in Biotechnology from St. Mary's College of California. Prior to joining BigHat, she spent two years at ZymoChem, a bio-based chemical manufacturing startup, where she worked in Materials Development focusing on manufacturing scale-up and product quality.
